You groan as you reach into the crumpled box of latex gloves next to the cleaning products and pull out a pair. The gloves slap in place against the skin of your wrists as the strong plastic-like odor floats to your nose. You grab the container of cleansers, hoping to get the worst of the cleaning over with first. The blue and green liquid cleaners swish inside the bottles as you lug the container down the hallway toward the bathrooms.
You plop the container down on the large row of sinks and grab the surface cleaner. The spray head squeaks as you pull the trigger and suds splash onto the dull white counter. You begin your routine of scrubbing and spraying when you hear a loud bang in the men’s room next door. You stop working and listen in silence for another noise. You’re startled when you hear a second bang, louder than before with a series of scrapes immediately after. Your eyes widen and your pulse quickens as you consider what you should do. You make eye contact with yourself in the mirror, as if your reflection could give you any substantial advice at the moment.
So what should you do?
